With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aldona Black Edwards (Dahlonega, Georgia), born in Lumpkin, Georgia, who passed away on March 29, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Patterson and Maude Rider Patterson; her husband Homer Ray Edwards; her son Danny Edwards; and her siblings, Howard Patterson, Rufus Patterson, Homer Patterson, Ralph Patterson, Leonia Rider, Corine Roberts and Sue Mollahan.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Black; her sister Pat McEver; and her nieces, Nancy, Barbara, Bev and Sandy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
