He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Izora Lee Wheeler Jones; and his brother Johnny Paul Jones. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Burnett Jones; his daughter Cheryl Jones Trulock (Glenn) of Milton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Cailyn and Grace; and his siblings, Glendon Jones (Claudine), Bonnie Lingerfelt and Mary Lou Gooch.
