He was predeceased by: his parent Cicero Turk. He is survived by: his wife Evi; his daughters, Julie and Chrissy; his mother Ruby; his siblings, Donna and Darrell; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Avery and Sally.

The family requests donations in lieu of flowers to Boys and Girls Club of America and TLC Humane Society, Dahlonega, Georgia.
