He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Kinkaid and Don Kinkaid of Gainesville, Georgia; his brother Darrell; his sister-in-law Susan Kinkaid of Dahlonega, Georgia; his sibling's children, Elizabeth Kinkaid of Edinburgh, Scotland and Daniel; and his niece-in-law Brenna Kinkaid of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations in David's name be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the global leader in a search for the cure of Type 1 diabetes.
