It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie Anderson Myers of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Anderson and Carrie Bell Albertson Anderson; her former husband John Luke "Jay" Walden; her husband Richard Myers; and her brothers-in-law, Magdaline and Hal Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy (Ricky Phillips), Phyllis (Earl Fain), Ricky (Judy Walden), Stevie (Pat Walden), Christine (Edward Reed) and Penny (Reggie Couch); her sisters, Brenda Barrett and Bonnie; her brother-in-law Ronnie Barnes; and her great grandchildren, Ricky, Donna Myers, Jessie RhDonna Myers Shubert and Benny Shubert. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 the family is strongly encouraging everyone to wear masks.
