She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Inez Lucas Hill and George Pierce Hill; her daughter Jeanne McCaleb (Steve Brantley); her grandchildren, Ryan McCaleb, Jessica McCaleb Bell (RJ Bell) and Ben McCaleb; her great grandchildren, Bailey and Lily Bell; her siblings, George R. Hill (Judy Lantzy Hill) and Alison Hill Duckett; her husband James S. McCaleb; and her son James Daniel "Bone" McCaleb.
