She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Berry and Hannah Grizzle Berry; her husband Loyd Hoyt Garrett; her son-in-law Doyle Butler; and her siblings, Leon Berry, Newt Berry, Frank Berry, Viola Fields, Cleo Rice, Joyce Barrett and Beveleene Beasley.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley; her son-in-law L. C. Truelove; her children, Linda Joyce Butler, Kenneth (Autumn Garrett), Doug (Pat Garrett) and Donald (Tammie Garrett); her sister Willie Mae Davis; her grandchildren, Jodie (Ashley Truelove), Rev. Kris (Deana Butler), Amy (Casey Hubbard), Nathan (Wendy Garrett), Jennifer (Jay Kaji), Mitchell Garrett, Melissa Garrett and Brittany Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Kaden Truelove, Kennidee Truelove, Peyton Truelove, Weston Truelove, Abby Butler, Chelsea Hubbard, Gus Hubbard, Aiden Kaji, Kiran Kaji, Lilly Garrett, Maddie Garrett and Ema Grizzle. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
