With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Ruth Wingo of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Troglin and Jane Cain Troglin; her husband Wesley Thomas Wingo (Rip); her daughter Peggy Sawyer; her grandson Chris Wingo; and her siblings, Luther, Arthur, John, Ed, Fred, Herman, J. D., Louie, Ella, Velva, Dollie, Pearl and Lillian.
She is survived by: her children, LuRee Hughes (Ronnie) of Monroe, GA, Joe Wingo (Linda) of Good Hope, GA and Pam Jackson (Terry) of Grayson, GA; her grandchildren, Susan Tapp, Jennifer Moore, Chip Sawyer, Jimmy Hughes, Wes Wingo, Andy Wingo, Callie Wiley, Christina Anderson, Brittany Jackson and Melanie Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Macy Tapp, Pierce Tapp, Dillon Moore, Avery Moore, Spencer Sawyer, Peyton Sawyer, Andrew Wingo, Maddie Wingo, Sam Wiley, Ruby Wiley and Audrey Anderson.
