Avery (Dahlonega, Georgia), born in Cornelia, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Avery; her daughter Trudy Carol Avery; her siblings, Charles Cantrell and Ann Rainwater; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Cantrell, Beth Cantrell and Virginia Avery.
She is survived by: her daughter JoAnn Rainey; her son-in-law Tom Rainey of Dahlonega; her son Stacy Avery; her daughter-in-law Tammy Avery of Dahlonega; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rainey, Christopher Rainey (Donna), Jessica Rudasill (Evan), Catherine Avery and Caitlin Avery; her great grandchildren, Andrew Rainey and Zoe Avery Rudasill; her brothers, James Cantrell and Cammie Cantrell; her sister-in-law Pat Cantrell; her sister Billie Cantrell of Dahlonega; and her brother-in-law Joe Avery of Sugar Hill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
