With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Carpenter of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Robbinsville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2020 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Millsaps and Flossie Mae Kirkland Millsaps; and her husband Paul Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Lamar Lee; her children, Harold (Vickie Carpenter), Ray (Nancy Carpenter) and Tammy; her son-in-law Scotty Gaddis; her siblings, Berlin Millsaps of Canon, GA and Eula Williams of Robbinsville, NC; her grandchildren, Shanda (Daniel Sexton), Crystal (Marty Abernathy), Dustin (Kiley Carpenter), Josh Carpenter, Craig (Tanya Carpenter), Amy (Chris McBrayer) and Emily Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Ryan, Chloe, Samuel, Keeley, Greyson, Landon, Alivia, Maverick, Laney Ray and Andi.
