It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lewis Disspain of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Henry and Margaret Geneva Rider Disspain; his wife Mary Helen Chastain Disspain; and his son Melvin Rickett. He is survived by: his sons, James Disspain and Danny Disspain; his brother Daniel Disspain; and his grandchildren, Savanna Shepard, Casey Rickett, Samantha Disspain, April Disspain and Amber Lee Disspain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
