It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loy Edward Anderson of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Ada Grizzle Anderson; his son Stanley Wayne Anderson; and his siblings, Elmer Anderson (Willie Mae), Claude Anderson, J. D. Anderson (Bonnell), Mae Gillespie (Dee), Fannie Lou Early (Charlie), Blanche Grindle (Fred) and Evelyn Anderson (Glad).
He is survived by: his wife Irene Conner Anderson; his daughters, Martha Anderson Singleton (Win Carnell) and Laura of Dahlonega; his children-in-law, Rick Allen of Dahlonega and Anita Thacker; his grandchildren, Leslie Francisco and Connor Allen; his great grandchildren, Liam Cole, Serena Cole and Jillian Francisco; and also Deb Page. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
While attending the service strict social distancing and masks are required.
