He was predeceased by: his father N. J. Salas; and his grandmother Lola Adamé. He is survived by: his wife Bettina Rogers Sonen; his children, Sierra Lin Sonen of Dahlonega, Michael Alexander Sonen (Caroline) of Gardendale, AL and James Keith Rogers of Dahlonega; his mother Maria Adamé Salas of Dahlonega; and his siblings, Ida Salas Brown (Chris) of Dahlonega, Diane Salas Hayes (Russ) of Dallas and David Salas (Sage) of Dallas. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great-niece and 3 great nephews and a number of other relatives.
