She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Holtzclaw and Mammie Holtzclaw; and her husband Lewis Dempsey, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Luegenia Dempsey of Dahlonega, Naomi Haynes (Roy) of Dahlonega, Lewis Dempsey Jr. (Donna) of Flowery Branch and Vanessa Satterfield (Gene) of Dahlonega; her siblings, Libby Thompson (Bill), Joe Holtzclaw (Joy), Dorris Wallace (Jim) and Mildred Davis; and her grandchildren, Heather Bafile (Ridge), Steven Haynes, Corey Drew, Stephanie Satterfield, Dustin Satterfiled, Brooke Dempsey (Alex Camp) and Hannah Wright. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
