With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Woody of Dahlonega, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Gwynn and Harry Gwynn. She is survived by: her husband C. O.; her daughter Darlene; her son-in-law Jeff Bearinger; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Davis (Jay), Amy Edwards (Benjy) and Susannah Gibson (Grant); and her great grandchildren, Eric, Caroline, Andy, Henry, Ruby, Gus, Oliver and Harrison. She is also survived by her child, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dahlonega Funeral Home (20 Gibson Rd, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dahlonega Memorial Park (222 Turner Rd, Dahlonega, GA 30533).
