He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Nell Childers Grainger; and his brothers, Bill Grainger and James Grainger. He is survived by: his sons, Tony (Teresa Grainger), Dahlonega, Kenny (Deanna Grainger), Danielsville, Gary (Lisa Grainger) and Commerce; his grandchildren, Ashley, Allan Gutierrez, Brad, Becky Grainger, Chrissy, Knox Belk, Jessica, Jesse Compton, Justin, Elyse Grainger and Jennifer Grainger (Kyle Smith); and his great grandchildren, Marcus Gutierrez, Matthew DiMarco, Kylie Smith, A. J. Gutierrez, Saige Compton and Ethan Gutierrez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
