He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Calvin and Lula Mae Vaughn; and his brother Jerry Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Vaughn; his sons, Josh Vaughn and Joey Vaughn; his stepchildren, Jessica Stamey, Herman Poole (Shelbie), Allen Stamey, Cleveland and Chris Poole; and his siblings, Larry Vaughn, Cleveland, Harry Vaughn and Linda Thomas (Bennie). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
