It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Gene Cantrell of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Lumpkin, Georgia, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Cosetta Cantrell (Davis); and his grandparents, Junior and Grace Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Faye Cantrell; his mother Cosetta Davis; his daughters, Penny Gibson (Carl) and Ima Adams (Kevin); his brothers, Terry Davis (Wanda), James Davis (Audrey) and Alfred Davis (Anita); his aunts and uncles, Johnny (Murdean Hunsinger), Hilda (Arnold Gentry), Lenora Woody, Ralph (Edith Bruce), Gladys (Eddie Hazelgreen), Frank Cantrell, Marvin Cantrell and Davada (Neal Rucker); his grandchildren, Nicholas Gibson, Tyler Adams, Hunter Adams and Angel Gibson; his great grandchild Zechariah Adams; and his close friend Wanda Turner.
The family asks that anyone who attends the visitation or the funeral, to please wear a mask.
