He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Miles; his stepson James Murphy; and his father Stephen Miles, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Vergie Miles; and his brothers, Chad (Loretta Miles) and Steve. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to help with final expenses.
