It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernis Louise Hughes (Dahlonega, Georgia), who passed away on January 7, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Warren Hughes; and her children, Charlotte Hughes, Charles Hughes of Dahlonega, Bobby Hughes (Bridget) of Dahlonega and Michael Hughes of Dahlonega. She was also cherished by five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
