She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Strickland and Mary Strickland; her brother Joey Strickland; and her sister-in-law Ellen Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Charles Waters of Daisy; her son Dusty Waters (Rachel) of Daisy; her granddaughters, Jasmine Waters of Pembroke and Eve Waters of Daisy; her siblings, Danny, Jimmy Strickland of Daisy, Tommy Strickland (Shirley) of Vidalia and Mary Ann Sullivan of Daisy; and her parents-in-law, Ann Sharp Waters and Billy T Waters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
