She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack King and Opal King; her son Stacey King; her siblings, Sonny King, Ricky King, Jackie Wilson and Wilma King; and her great-niece Carol Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carmen King of California; her adoptive daughter Jennifer Nelson of California; her stepbrother Donnie Mitchell of Lithonia; her sister Agnes Lyons of Paulding County; her sister-in-law Corazon King of Oakland, CA; her grandchildren, Ashley King and Faith King; her great grandchildren, Ayanna King, Akhari King, Yohaness King and Avi-Amor King; and her sibling's children, Candy Sutton, Harriet Wilson, Steven Wilson and Mikel Wilson.
