She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Brown and Clista Brown; her son Anthony Steele; and her siblings, Elkin Brown, Bill Brown, Dennis Brown and Katherine Ratliff.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Vance (Dallas), Kitty Maddox (Philip), Paul Cornette (Sue), Sharon Crockett (Bob), Alan Albright (Debbie), Ray Albright (Chris), Kevin Adams (Lisa), Jason Adams and Christina Adams; and her brother Ernie Brown (Fern). She is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens (4355 Hwy 92, Acworth, GA 30102).
