He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Wilkins; and his parents, Greene Wilkins and Emma Wilkins. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Wilkins of Dalton and Grady; his daughter-in-law Cathy Wilkins of Dalton; his close friend Barbara Locke of Dalton; his grandchildren, Holly (Dana Poe), Amy (Steven Ridley), Amanda (Wes Snyder), Hope (Taylor Gilstrap), Hannah (Josh Bowen), Alison (Jake Dunagan) and Whitney (Jonas Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Jillian, Shea Poe, Emma, Peyton, Wade Ridley, Tristyn, Cadynce Curry, Weslynn, Blakelyn, Lily, Kate Snyder, Ava, Rowan Gilstrap, Camryn, Rhett, Bennett, Chandler Bowen and Wilkes Dunagan.
