She was predeceased by : her parents, Leslie Augustus and Roxie Annie Askew; and her daughter Dorothy Oneita Singleton. She is survived by : her husband Troy Wells of Dalton Georgia; her son-in-law Loyd H. Singleton; and her grandchildren, Talena Smith, Rena Carver, Shanda, Jesse Bryson, Kevin, Amy Hall, Herbie, Lashanda Singleton, Paul, Lulu Singleton and Chanler Singleton. She is also survived by 15 Great grandchildren and 6 Great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
