She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ghorley and Beulah R. Land Ghorley; her husband James Leon McDaniel; her sisters, Brenda Duvall, Shirley Edge and Carolyn Ghorley; her son-in-law Joe Collis; and her close friend Jerry Lavely.
She is survived by: her children, James R. McDaniel (Dena) of Ranger, GA, Renee Childers (Scotty) of Fairmount, GA and Jamie Collis of Fairmount, GA; her grandchildren, Brittney McDaniel, J. T. McDaniel (Alexis), Bridgette McDaniel, Ashley Salters (Daniel), Leslie Rampley (Matt) and Caleb McDaniel; her great grandchildren, Jace, Mabri, Briar Rampley, Scarlett, Hunter Salters, James, Jacob, Gloria, Kaci, Aiden and Christian McDaniel; her sister Diane Morrison of Calhoun, GA; and her friends, Mary Frances Roden of Fairmount and Viola Lewis of Calhoun. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Baptist Church (176 Peachtree St, Fairmount, GA 30139). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
