With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Jenkins of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Troy Jenkins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Riley Jenkins and Ruby Jenkins of Tunnel Hill; and his sister Vera Jenkins. He is survived by : his daughter Tara; his wife Myrna Jenkins of Dalton; his son Barry Jenkins of Roswell, GA; his son-in-law David Wood of Burgaw, NC; his grandchildren, Caleb Wood, Lindsay Wood, Nathan Wood, Sophie Wood, Julia Jenkins, John Jenkins, Will Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins; his sister Jurialean Black; his nephews, Greg and Wesley Black; and his niece Angela Black of Rocky Face.

The family held a private funeral on Sunday and asks that any donations made in Troy's honor go towards the American Cancer Society or Crown View Baptist Church.
