She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Stewart and Julia Vaughn Stewart; and her brothers, Jimmy Stewart, Leon Stewart and Daniel Stewart.

She is survived by : her husband David Blalock; her sons, Johnny Beck (Peggy), Ronnie Beck, Jason Blalock (Kelly) and Jerome Blalock (Holly); and her siblings, Cary Stewart, Mildred Mullinaux and Diane Smith. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
