He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Payne and Juanita Banks Payne; and his brother Morris Payne. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Baker Payne; his daughter Tabitha Payne; his brothers, Thaddis Payne and Terry Payne; his pet Peanut; and his sister Dorothy Bryant.
