He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Gilbert and Corbin Hurst; and his brother Ronnie Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Tami Wheeler Hurst; his son Nicholas Hurst; his sister Betty Childress; and his aunt Myra Sawyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
