The memory of Mary Catherine Greer of Dawsonville, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband John Richardson Greer; her parents, Carl Eugene "Pete" and Janie Carolyn Jones Pridgen; and her parents-in-law, Furman Greer and Jane Greer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Ann Hanes and Jody Lynn Bearden (Jeremy Bearden); her brother Bob; her sister-in-law Peggy Pridgen; her mother-in-law Ann Greer; and her sisters-in-law, Gina Carlton (David), Julie Byars (Mark), Becky Nix (Matt) and Mary Ann Hudson (Will). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home (355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alta Vista Cemetery (521 Jones St, Gainesville, GA 30501).
