He was predeceased by: his father Sanford (Emma Lou Scroggins). He is survived by: his close friend Debra Mills of Dawsonville; his sisters, Mary Gay of Ball Ground, Carolyn Koonce of Cumming, Becky Ray of Ball Ground and Linda Waters (Rex) of Dawsonville; his stepdaughter Shanna Jones of Cumming; and his grandchildren, Angela Jones and Cameron Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
