It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Bird of Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Richard Bird. She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Carol (Bob Buhler), Mary Nakhleh, Robert Bateson of Bigfork, MN, Douglas (Betsy Bateson) and John (Sharon Bateson); and her friend Kathy Armistead of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and -nephews, and great-grand-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity or organization of choice.
