We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, at the age of 62, Tonya Marie Chapman (Decatur, Georgia), born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Tonya Marie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Tonya Marie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Bollin and Thomas Chapman Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas, Thiyon and Namia; her nephew Zaki; and her great-niece Amiyah. She is also survived by friends who became more like sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainbow Park Baptist Church (2941 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30034-4146).
