She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Felson Andrews and Mary Pierce Andrews; her husband John David Carpenter Sr.; and her brother Pierce Andrews. She is survived by: her children, John David Carpenter II (Angela) of Ivey and Candis C. Peeler (Jody) of Deepstep; her grandchildren, Morgan Lanier, Christian Lanier, Jennifer Hodges (Brian), Johnathan Mason, Katelyn Peeler, Alan Peeler, Brandy Nicholson and Brandon Eubanks; her siblings, Uldena Denton (Al) of Deepstep and Al Andrews (Kyla) of Deepstep; and her sister-in-law Joyce Andrews of Conyers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
