She was predeceased by: her parents, William Enoch and Eula Belle Taylor Edwards; her husband James Kenneth "Ken" Martin, Sr.; her children, James Kenneth "Jimmy" Martin, Jr. and Deborah Martin Brown; and her siblings, Dorothy Hardy, Louise Young, Doris Hill and Winston Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Rebecca Edwards of Clarkesville and Michael Martin of Baldwin; her grandchildren, Lisa R. Edwards, Jim (Audra Edwards), Allison (Mark Morrison), Holly (John Borrow), Lori (Rodney Watts), Mike (Melanie Martin) and Jennifer Colwell; and her sisters, Marjorie Dockins of Smyrna and Barbara Frady of Huntsville, AL.. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
