He was predeceased by: his parent George Edward Smith. He is survived by: his parent Phyllis Smith; his wife Diana S. Smith of Toccoa, GA; his children, Shiela Potts of Demorest, GA, Ashley "Shay" Martinez of Oklahoma City, OK and Steven Fedele of Toccoa, GA; his brother David; his sister-in-law Cheryl Smith of Joplan, MO; and his nephews, Matthew and Nicholas Smith.
