He is survived by: his parent Emily Rose Souther Rice; his sons-in-law, Sonya, Ricky Tanner of Demorest, Melissa, Raymond Wimpy of Dahlonega, Denise and Chris Rogers of Westminster; his grandchildren, Craig, Lenay, Dakota, Charles, Tyler, Ethan and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Mason and Riley; and his siblings, Ray Rice of Cornelia and Lucille Powell of Baldwin.
