She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Myrtis Mae Thurmond Stewart; and her grandparents, Virgil, Effie Mae Wheeler Stewart, Fred and Pearl Harris Thurmond.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Minyard of Cornelia, GA and Cammie; her son-in-law Bill Ramsey of Mt. Airy, GA; her grandchildren, Casey, Amy Ramsey of Rocky Face, GA, Brittany and Josh Elliott of Guyton, GA; her great grandchildren, Austin Cooley of Rocky Face, GA and Garrett Elliott of Guyton, GA; her siblings, Martha (Jesse Smith), Carol (Lamar Whiting) and Roy Lee; and her sister-in-law Karen Stewart of Macon, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.
