She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank James and Carrie Burrell Brookshire; her husband William "Bill" Humphries; her son Mitchell "Mitch" Humphries; and her siblings, Garlin Brookshire, Arlin Brookshire and Fay Brookshire Newton.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Gillum of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Kyle, Emily Gillum of Gainesville, Kamila and Brian Kovach of Gainesville; her great grandchildren, McKayla Gillum, CeCe Gillum, Ronny Gillum, Malorie Wyse and Brody Wyse; and her sister Mildred Locke. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Music Program.
