It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanola Bush Kirkland of Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Burrell Benjamin Bush and Beulah Hodges Bush; her husband Earle Kirkland; her siblings, Leon Bush, Hoyt Bush, Lester Bush, William Bruton Bush, Bill Grimsley, Aubrey Grimsley and Ouida Kelley; her children, Leon Kirkland and Vonda Hester; her son-in-law David Daniels; and her granddaughter-in-law Wendy Kirkland.
She is survived by : her children, Cosby E. Kirkland (Brenda) of Ashford, AL and Emmie Kirkland Daniels of Ashford, AL; her grandchildren, Cosby B. Kirkland, Valisha Kirkland, Stephen D. Daniels (Caroline), Jeffery Scott Kirkland and Shanna Enfinger (Eric); her great grandchildren, Rebekah Lane, Cam, Caleb Daniels, Rachel, Hudson Daniels, Julia Daniels, Evelyn Daniels, Kelly Kirkland Murphy, Clay, Joshua Enfinger, Luke Enfinger, Hannah Grace Enfinger, Mary Enfinger and Sarah Enfinger; and her great great grandchild Piper Lane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
