She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dennis Fussell and Matilda Gillis Fussell; and her sister Jean Fussell Paulk. She is survived by: her husband Billy O. Ward; her children, Lynn O'Steen (Wayne) of Douglas, GA, Sue McCarty of Broxton, GA and Dennis Ward (Stephanie) of Savannah, GA; her grandchildren, Landon Castleman (Jennifer) of Bishop, GA, Josh McCarty (Ashley) of Broxton, GA, Joe McCarty of Broxton, GA, Whitley Phillips (Cody) of Broxton, GA and Stefan Kirby of Savannah, GA; her great grandchildren, Jacob Castleman of Bishop, GA, Abby McDonald of Broxton, GA and Cooper Phillips of Broxton, GA; and her sister Ernestine Rizer (Courtland) of Walterboro, S. C.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
