He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Peterson and Carrie Cannon Peterson; and his brothers, Earl and Omar Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Anne M. Peterson of Douglas, GA; his daughter Dawn Peterson of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Ian Brady Boatright of Alma, GA, Payton Michele Boatright of Alma, GA and Lauren Olivia Boatright of Alma, GA; and his brother Gene Peterson of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
