He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Lindsey and Nellie Paulk Lindsey; and his brother Marvin Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Denise Lindsey of Douglas, GA; his children, David Lindsey II (Jerri Lynn) of Douglas, GA, Danny Lindsey (Emily) of Marietta, GA and Dana Mayo (Michael) of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Hannah Lindsey, Brett Lindsey, Hunter Myers, Kase Lindsey, Elizabeth Lindsey, Amelia Lindsey, Julia Mayo and Boston Mayo; and his siblings, Jeff Lindsey of Douglas, GA and Diana Lindsey of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
