We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2019, at the age of 86, Della Elizabeth Stanfill Clay (Douglas, Georgia), born in Cairo, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah William Stanfill and Muriel Lucille Ulm Stanfill; and her siblings, Edith Stanfill Roddenbery and William Thomas "Bill" Stanfill. She is survived by: her husband Jack Harward Clay, Sr. of Douglas; her children, Glenda Clay (Ben Green) of Decatur, Diane Melvin (Jimmy) of Oxford, Cynthia Clay of Douglas, Gloria Fussell (Clifton) of Douglas and Jack H. Clay, Jr. (Lizanne) of Albany; her grandchildren, Kelly Clay of Albany, Noah Clay (Abbyanne), Zach Fussell (Jessica) of Douglas, Julie Till (Cal) of Forsyth, Lauren Norman (Logan) of Covington and Tara Bennett (Chris) of Douglas; her sister Tommie Indence of Thomasville; and her sister-in-law Gail Stanfill of Albany. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
