He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Harper and Mattie Paulk Harper. He is survived by: his wife Rita S. Harper of Douglas, GA; his daughters, Debbie Davis (Sammy) of Douglas, GA, Delectia Vickers (Derek) of Ambrose, GA and DeLeice Carter (Brett) of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Corey Vickers, Meagan Coley and Elle Carter; his great grandchildren, Harper Vickers, Raef Coley and Mattie Grace Coley; and his sisters, Bonnie Tucker of Ambrose, GA and Dorothy Bass of Ambrose, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Ministries or the Alzheimer Association.
