It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Bennett of Douglas, Georgia, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogers Marion and Lula Mae Walker Bennett; his wife Penny Bennett; his son Richard Bennett; his grandson Marc Bennett; and his siblings, George Bennett and Linda Frazier.
He is survived by: his children, Don Bennett (Tracy) of Douglas, GA, Jerry Bennett (Micky) of St. Louis, MO and Karen Bennett of Maryville, TN; his stepdaughter Joyce Hazel-Black of Diamond City, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Austin Bennett, Katlynn Poole, Madison Bennett and Enoga Rune; and his great grandchildren, Winter Rune, Atlas Rune and Saige Poole.
