It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ricketson Batten of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Terry Cook, Greg Batten and Kathy Stone (Stan) of Douglas, GA; her siblings, Myrtle Matthews of Douglas, GA, Mary Thacker of Douglas, GA, J. T. Ricketson (Jean) and Frankie Smith of Jamestown, NC; her grandchildren, Josh Cook (Sarah), Reagan Stone, Whitney Stone of Hazlehurst, Ga Elias Batten of Jacksonville, FL, Mac Batten of Jacksonville, FL and Mason Batten of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchild Sampson Cook of Austin, TX; and her sister-in-law Sue Bordeaux. She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
