He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Townes of Augusta, GA, Gerald Townes of Snellville, GA and Tremayne Townes of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Gregory Townes, Jr., Alicia McKinney, Starr Townes, Ariel Sims, Kyzha Townes, Emoni Townes, Mardaeus Townes and Tyree Townes; his great grandchild Yaven McKinney; his sister Rosemary Goodman (Henry); and his friend Shirley Donaldson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Townes may viewed at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p. m. Please adhere to guidelines for social distancing and wearing masks.
