With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Buchan of Douglas, Georgia, born in Ocilla, Georgia, who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Ashley Griffin and Emma Gray Griffin; her husband Bobby Gene Buchan; her siblings, Albert Griffin (Grace), Barney Griffin (Evelyn), Virgil Griffin (Maurice), Wiley Griffin (Pauline), Earl Griffin, John David Griffin and Lillian Fletcher (Paul); and her grandson William Forrest Buchan.
She is survived by: her sons, Vance Buchan (Myra) of St. Augustine, FL, Lee Buchan (Kimberly) of Orlando, FL and David Buchan (Michelle) of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Holton (JT), Taylor Troupe (Trey), Kendall Dodson, Preslee Buchan and Jordan Buchan; her brother Reverend Herman Griffin (Katherine); and her sister-in-law Faye Griffin. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
